This week, our engineers completed the successful commissioning of 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟐 – 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞, installed on Building C2, a student dormitory of Democritus University of Thrace – (D.U.Th.) in Kimmeria, Xanthi.

The modular prefabricated building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) facade showcases the power of cross-sector collaboration combining custom photovoltaic panels of amorphous silicon technology, aluminum frames for easy and ad-hoc mounting, a battery energy storage system and smart control and conversion systems.

As part of the REHOUSE EU project, the system contributes to rethinking the way we design and retrofit buildings for a climate-resilient, energy-efficient future.
