The CIVITAS Forum is Europe’s flagship conference on sustainable urban mobility, bringing together city representatives, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from across the continent. This year’s theme is “Roots & Routes: Moving Forward to Competitive, Connected and Resilient Urban Mobility!”, with one of its central topics covering the energy-mobility nexus in transport transitions.

That connection is not coincidental for us. Photovoltaics, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure: Renel’s work sits precisely where the energy transition and urban mobility meet. And the fact that the Forum is coming to Thessaloniki, the city where we have been based and working for 17 years, makes the involvement feel like more than a sponsorship.
