Renel Energy & Power Engineering, with more than 16 years of experience in delivering large scale energy projects across Greece, is a dynamically growing company in the energy sector and is seeking an Operation & Maintenance Engineer (O&M) for the management, organization, and supervision of operation and maintenance activities of energy installations, including photovoltaic parks, energy storage systems, and electromechanical installations.
As an Operation & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the optimal operation of the installations, the management of technical personnel, the implementation of maintenance schedules, and the assurance of high availability and performance of the projects.
The position requires on site presence at the company’s facilities in Thessaloniki.
Key Responsibilities

Management and coordination of the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) department

Planning, execution, and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Monitoring plant operation through SCADA systems and analysis of performance data

Management of fault reports and immediate resolution of technical issues

Maintenance of maintenance records, reports, and performance indicators (KPIs)
-
Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
-
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations
-
Contribution to process optimization and the development of new O&M projects
Candidate Profile
-
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (University or Technological Education)
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in O&M projects for energy installations (renewable energy or electromechanical projects)

Good knowledge of SCADA systems, inverters, medium voltage systems, maintenance procedures, and electromechanical installations
-
Knowledge of CMMS will be considered an asset

Strong communication skills

Ability to solve complex technical and operational problems

Teamwork oriented mindset

Good command of MS Office, AutoCAD, and reporting and monitoring tools

Good command of English, written and spoken

Completed military obligations for male candidates

Driving license

Willingness to travel, as occasional trips within Greece may be required depending on project needs
