Project Manager

Job Description

Renel Energy & Power Engineering, with more than 16 years of experience in delivering large scale energy projects across Greece, is a dynamically growing company in the energy sector and is seeking an Engineer for the position of Project Manager. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills, and has at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Management of public and private sector projects

  • Responsibility for the preparation and monitoring of project schedules and budgets

  • Preparation of quantity take offs and payment statements for public authorities

  • Collaboration with engineers from other departments to coordinate studies, procurement, and on site construction activities

  • Evaluation, contracting, and certification of subcontractors’ and suppliers’ works

  • Preparation of necessary reports regarding the financial and time progress of projects

  • Communication with public authorities and participation in coordination meetings

  • Representation of the company in meetings with involved stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from a Polytechnic School, member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE)

  • Proven experience in the management and supervision of public works, minimum 5 years preferred

  • Knowledge of Project Management principles

  • Strong organizational skills, responsibility, consistency, and communication abilities

  • Knowledge of English and computer skills, Office, MS Project

  • Category B driving license

  • Willingness to travel
