Senior Project Manager

With more than 17 years of experience in delivering large-scale energy projects across Greece, Renel Energy & Power Engineering, a rapidly growing company in the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to strengthen its EPC team.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and monitoring of public and private sector projects, ensuring their successful completion within schedule, budget and technical specifications.

The role includes project contract management, coordination of project teams, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as continuous communication with all involved stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in technical project management, strong organizational thinking, an analytical approach and excellent communication skills.

The position requires on-site presence at the company’s facilities in Thessaloniki.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, coordinate and supervise public and private sector projects
  • Prepare, monitor and ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Evaluate and approve subcontractor and supplier offers
  • Prepare quantity surveying reports for public and private projects
  • Monitor the financial and time performance of projects and prepare related reports
  • Coordinate site activities in collaboration with engineers and construction teams
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve issues
  • Communicate with public authorities and participate in technical meetings
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to process optimization and the efficient operation of the EPC department

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a University (member of TEE)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the management and supervision of technical and/or public sector projects
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles and methodologies
  • Leadership skills, delegation capability and team coordination experience
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office Suite and project management tools
  • Good command of AutoCAD
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong organizational, communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Team-oriented attitude and professionalism
  • Valid Category B driving license
  • Availability for business travel
  • Completed military obligations (where applicable)
