Maximum Injection Capacity: New installations are limited to 3,800 MW by ADMIE and 900 MW by DEDDIE.
Eligibility Criteria: Stations must have a minimum energy storage duration of 2 hours and an efficiency rating of ≥80%.
Permitting Process: Includes storage licensing, environmental approval, and financial feasibility assurance.

This framework enables the creation of autonomous energy storage units operating without state subsidies, offering new investment opportunities in the free energy market.
