Skyros Island Health Center

Renel signed a contract with the 5th Regional Health Authority of Thessaly & Central Greece for the energy upgrade and renovation of the Skyros Island Health Center.

The project is funded under the Greece 2.0 Recovery & Resilience Plan, backed by NextGenerationEU, with a total budget of €914,388.69 (incl. VAT).

Technical scope:

  • Deep energy renovation of the building envelope and MEP systems.

  • Installation of high-efficiency HVAC and lighting systems.

  • Smart automation for energy monitoring and consumption control.

  • Functional and safety improvements, with full operational continuity during works.

Impact:

  • Considerable reduction in energy costs and emissions.

  • Improved working conditions for medical staff and better experience for patients.

  • A key public facility gains greater resilience and energy independence.

  • Full alignment with EU Regulation (EU) 2021/241 and DNSH principles.
