At Smart House, we undertook the supply, study, and installation of photovoltaic equipment for the pilot photovoltaic facade of the Smart House, on behalf of the Center for Research & Technology (C.E.R.T.H.) under the EU’s HORIZON 2020 funded PLUG-N-HARVEST project.
The project’s goal was to design, develop, demonstrate, and exploit a new plug-n-play modular concept/product for ADBE (Adaptable/Dynamic Building Envelopes), which was able to provide high (maximum possible) energy consumption reductions and high (maximum possible) energy harvesting from RES (Renewable Energy Sources).
Innovation has always been at the heart of Renel. We are constantly looking for new and better ways to harness the power of renewable energy. This includes collaborating with partners across the scientific and research field to exchange knowledge and expertise.
