Renel undertook the implementation of the following projects within the framework of the contract for the Supply of Equipment and Installation Services of a Pilot Façade for the Regional Unit of Grevena, under the Plug-N-Harvest project:
- Supply and installation of innovative energy façades:
- Design, manufacture, and installation of façades with integrated energy efficiency systems.
- Use of advanced materials and technologies to improve the building’s energy performance.
- Integration of renewable energy systems:
- Installation of photovoltaic panels or other energy harvesting systems on the façades.
- Connection to the building’s existing energy system for optimal utilization of the generated energy.
- Installation of energy management systems:
- Implementation of smart systems for monitoring and controlling energy consumption.
- Capability for remote management and data analysis to optimize energy efficiency.
- Provision of maintenance and support services:
- Regular maintenance of the installed systems to ensure their uninterrupted operation.
- Training of personnel in the use and management of the new systems.
The implementation of these projects aims to create a pilot model of an energy-efficient façade, contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and the promotion of sustainable practices in the construction sector.
