One of the most impressive and emblematic buildings of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (Glass Building of the Faculty of Sciences) needed to be more energy-efficient.

hashtag#Renel undertook the “Procurement and Installation of Renewable Energy Sources-Energy Saving Interventions of Aristotle University” with a total amount of 673.072 euros.

This project is implemented within the framework of the EEA 2014-2021 – GR-Energy Program “Renewable Energy Sources, Energy Efficiency, Energy Security” and is co-financed by EEA-EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) and from the Public Investments Program of the Hellenic Republic.

The GR-Energy Program is about energy lower carbon intensity and increased security of supply. Emblematic buildings need to be more sustainable in order to keep up with contemporary standards and Renel is always the most valuable ally to this green transition.
