Renel has a Research & Development Department that specializes in submitting proposals and implementing co-financed programs with the aim of researching green solutions that will contribute to the goal of transitioning to a zero-energy society. We are currently looking to add a member to our amazing team.
We seek for an EU Project Development & Implementation Officer to help develop innovative projects, in the sector of energy.
Your role will be to write, develop, and manage research projects, throughout the innovation project lifecycle: from ideation to delivery.
The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, has experience in relevant fields, and understands the concept of innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and map research funding opportunities, in the context of different programs, such as Horizon, LIFE, Interreg
- Contribute to the definition of project ideas, drafting of concept notes
- Understanding the consortium building process
- Proposal writing
- Implementation of project-related tasks, including but not limited to drafting and reviewing deliverables
- Lead day-to-day project activities, including but not limited to monitoring deadlines, costs, scope, resources
- Report writing
- Communicate effectively both within the organization, as well as with external partners (academia/research, industrial partners, public authorities etc.)
- Organize, participate in, and monitor project meetings
- On-site autopsies and data gathering
Desired skills:
- University degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in research programs and proposal writing
- Proven record in successful proposal preparation
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek
- Writing skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
