What is the role of your Department of Engineering, Procurement & Construction in RENEL?
The role of the EPC-O&M department is to provide a comprehensive service for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of different kinds of projects. Our team works closely with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated effectively and our client’s needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. We are responsible for managing the entire project from feasibility studies, engineering design, procurement of equipment and materials, construction and installation, quality control assurance, and commissioning in order to ensure successful delivery to the clients within the agreed scope, budget, and schedule.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy working with my team and collaborating with other departments to ensure that everything runs smoothly, but one of the most rewarding aspects of my role is seeing a project come to completion. It’s incredibly satisfying to see all the hard work that goes into a project pay off when it’s completed successfully.
What will be the challenges in the EPC sector in the following years?
Due to the rapid development of technology and renewable energy sources, all technical companies should be able to adapt quickly to a new environment. Our team must constantly evolve and be up to date on these developments, in order to face any possible challenge in the future and be able to pursue new opportunities that will arise.
