Are the Energy Communities the future of Energy generation?

Energy communities allow citizens, small businesses, cooperatives, and local entities to get involved and participate actively in the fight against climate change. Citizen participation is increasingly more important in achieving energy transition, and in this way, energy communities can be a great ally.

We are proud that we helped three Energy Communities (Mavrovouniou, Aisonias & Riga Feraiou) in the greater area of Magnesia to produce their own energy through solar panels.

Thanks to their projects and activities, energy communities boost the competitiveness of local businesses, support key sectors, create new business opportunities and synergies, and foster cooperation. Moreover, as a result of their investments, energy communities create new jobs within local communities.
